This position operates as part of the YMCA Child Care Center at Knute Nelson working in the Preschool classroom. Lead teachers will work in conjunction with child care management staff to provide a fun, interactive learning environment for all children.

Essential functions include:

Under the direction of the Wellness Coordinator, personal trainers instruct and train individual member clients; provide excellent service to clients and potential clients in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment. 

Nationally recognized Personal Training certification is required prior to hire; may include, but is not limited to: (ACE, NETA, AFAA, NASM); post-secondary education preferred, but not required.

Lifeguard

This part time position operates as part of the Aquatics Department.

The Lifeguard will provide direct supervision of the pool and provide a quality experience to children and parents. Rules will be enforced in a polite, courteous, fair and consistent manner. Focus will be on safety and the YMCA's core values.

Swim Instructor
