Child Care, Lead Teacher

This position operates as part of the YMCA Child Care Center. Lead teachers will work in conjunction with child care management staff to provide a fun, interactive learning environment for all children.

Essential functions include:

  • Develop, implement and evaluate weekly lesson plans
  • Evaluates and maintains records on all children's progress
  • Supervise and engage with assigned groups of children
  • Supervise and assign tasks to assistant teachers and aides

Child Watch Aide

This part-time position operates as part of the Membership Department. Currently seeking applicants with weekday availability from 8 am - 12 pm; also with occasional weekend availability from 8 am - 11 am.

Background or experience in child care, education or child services of any kind are beneficial.

YMCA Child Watch is nursery service for YMCA youth members while parents attend a group fitness class, swim, or take a walk with a friend while our experienced caregivers care for their children.

Child Watch services are available for children 6 weeks to 7 years old.

Currently seeking applicants with afternoon, and evening availability, from 5:30 pm - 10:30 pm. Shift lengths may vary to be flexible with daytime work hours.

Day Camp Counselors are responsible for the care of children in the YMCA Summer Day Camp Program at the facility, and off site. This part-time position operates as part of the Membership & Marketing Department.
