Assistant Teacher

This part-time position operates as part of the YMCA Child Care Department with the Preschool classroom.

Required to have some level of post-secondary education, preferably in early childhood, and/or some experience in licensed early childhood facilities.

Two positions available; accepting candidates with availability Monday – Friday afternoon, or Tuesday – Friday mornings.

Under the direction of the Child Care Director and the Lead Teacher, this individual will implement developmentally appropriate activities for an assigned group of children and assist the Lead Teacher as needed.

Child Watch Aide

This part-time position operates as part of the Membership Department. Currently seeking applicants with weekday availability from 8 am - 12 pm; also with occasional weekend availability from 8 am - 11 am.

Background or experience in child care, education or child services of any kind are beneficial.

YMCA Child Watch is nursery service for YMCA youth members while parents attend a group fitness class, swim, or take a walk with a friend while our experienced caregivers care for their children.

Child Watch services are available for children 6 weeks to 7 years old.

Evening Housekeeping

This part time position operates as part of the Building and Grounds Department.

Job Summary
Cleaning, sanitizing, wet and dust mopping, scrubbing, polishing, trash removal and supply stocking, in locker room facilities, restroom facilities, group fitness studios, hallways and gymnasiums. Additional duties may include vacuuming, window washing, meeting set up, trash removal and other related general cleaning responsibilities.

Currently seeking applicants with afternoon, and evening availability, from 5:30 pm - 10:30 pm. Shift lengths may vary to be flexible with daytime work hours.

Background in housekeeping or cleaning of any kind are beneficial.

Bus Driver

This part time seasonal position operates as part of the Aquatics Department.

This position will be a seasonal position from January 4 - March 1. The individual must be available Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 2:15 pm - 3:30 pm. At least one year of work experience as a bus driver is preferred. The individual must posses appropriate class license and have knowledge of rules/guidelines related to commercial passenger vehicles. 

The individual will provide safe transportation from Area Elementary Schools to the YMCA while maintaining a supportive and positive atmosphere. May also support in other areas as assigned.
