Open Positions

Property Manager

Directs the maintenance and operations of the YMCA facilities and equipment, including preventative maintenance, staff supervision and related budget management.

Essential Functions:

  • Provides coordination of facility maintenance and proper operations of the building systems and equipment.
  • Ensures compliance with regulations and codes related to building, facilities and grounds.
  • Develops and manages department budget.
  • Hires, trains, manages and supervises housekeeping and maintenance staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, related education or experience in facility management.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems and basic carpentry.
  • CPR, First Aid and AED certifications required within 30 days of employment.
  • "POOL" and boiler certifications required within 120 days of employment.

Physical Demands:

  • The employee is often required to: climb stairs, bend, stoop, kneel, twist, reach with hands, sit, stand for an extended period of time, climb ladders, walk, shovel and plow snow, mow and trim grass, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, have finger dexterity, grasp, perform repetitive motions, talk, hear, and have visual acuity.
  • The work is performed both indoors and out, and may require travel to various locations. While performing the duties of this job the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.

This position of full-time exempt. Employer offers health insurance, HSA, life insurance, PTO and a flexible schedule.

Salary: $35,000 - $45,000 per year

Building Supervisor

This part-time position operates as part of the Membership & Marketing Department.

This position will begin in the summer/fall and the individual must be available to open/close the YMCA Fridays - Sundays (weekends only). Background in customer service, supervisory/management communication and human relations skills of any kind are beneficial.

This person is responsible for the safety of all members, guests and staff in the YMCA facility. The Building Supervisor is an ambassador for the YMCA and should ensure high standards of customer service. The building supervisor should be someone who is never tardy and always prepared to deliver excellent customer service to all members and program participants. This position requires excellent customer service, communication and human relations skills, and responsibility.

Shifts offered seven days per week, lengths may vary to be flexible with daytime or evening work hours.
