Unifying Our Community Through Intergenerational Programming
Intergenerational programming at Knute Nelson fosters skill-sharing between generations. Children bring joy and spirit to residents, keeping them young at heart, while residents' attention helps children flourish. Kids visit weekly, sing, and use the hallways as classrooms, calling residents their "grand buddies."
OUR CURRICULUM
You want the very best for your child and so do we! We encourage positive relationships between the children, child care staff, and parents to ensure a high-quality experience. In every program and every classroom, we address the specific needs of children based not only on age, but also individual pace of development.
DROP-IN & SHORT-TERM CARE
When plans change and you find yourself without child care, the Y is a great place for your children to explore, learn, and grow in an environment where they feel safe, cared for, and celebrated.
