Safety

Safety is our first priority.

Campers are taught the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

All camp staff are CPR and first-aid certified. With a staff-to-child ratio of 1:12, we make sure that each staff member can give the required attention to each child.

Swimming

Children who are 7 or older will complete a swim test given by lifeguards. If they pass they will be given a colored wristband that communicates to staff that the child is allowed to swim in the deep end. Children younger than 7 must remain in the shallow end.

What to Bring to Camp
  • Snack
  • Water Bottle
  • Sunscreen (Lotion preferred, NO aerosol)
  • Swimsuit and Towel on Swim Days
  • Weather Appropriate Clothing
  • Tennis Shoes (No sandals, flip-flops, or open-toed shoes)

We recommend labeling belongings with your child's name.
